Many things happening at La Grange with the new harvest! We keep going with new investments to improve the quality of the wines and the daily work. This year we bought a new equipment to bring back the grapes from the vineyard to the winery and it seems to be working perfectly. All workers are happy with this change and the grapes come healthy and untouched to the winemaking team! For Sébastien, it is the first harvest at La Grange but for Charles, François and Pierre-Yves this is nothing new. Sebastien came one month before to get his training and plan ahead the work to do with Gwenael our wine consultant. We took some time off to celebrate his arrival and inaugurate our new barbecue at the same time!

Castalides Icône

La Grange ICÔNE wine deserves his name more than ever with all the medals won during the last few months! First, it started with a 90 points for the Icône 2009 in the new Gilbert and Gaillard Wine Guide.

Then, a 91 points for the 2007 vintage was won in Germany during the contest organized by Sopexa last month. This is a great proof of the wonderful aging capacity of ICONE wines.

And now a SILVER Medal at Vinalies Internationales for the same ICONE 2009… surely, a great wine for patient collectors!
